we need creativity to thrive.
this is a statement i deeply believe. every human being, left or right brained, is creative in their own way.
i find my creativity in photography. i find it in writing. i find in in my “traditional” career of tele-therapy. but more than anything, i find my creativity in constantly being curious. i will never stop learning new things, taking on new projects, and generating new ideas.
from working with adolescents struggling with eating disorders, to picking up a new hobby in the form of a DIY home project or custom gift for a loved one, creativity has always permeated every part of my life. the projects that make me the most excited are new, unique, and meaningful collaborations with other creatives. i especially enjoy being able to use two or more of my skills to compliment each other in the same project.
ideas that excite me right now:
editorial and storytelling photography
film photography
podcasts
poetry
writing opportunities, consultations, informational presentations, or trainings on topics of teen issues, eating disorders, religious trauma, LGBTQ+, or the foster care system
